The Flakefall Cervid

ISSUE #3: a shorter one~!

It's been a busy week in terms of real life stuff! Not very much project work has been done -- but I've definitely started some adult tasks which is always a nice burden off of my shoulders. Today I'm doing a bit of shopping as well (have the whole day off work!!) and will perhaps work on some projects after. Although it is still quite the struggle to even begin working on something, I do think The Cervid gives me a quick and easy outlet to do some writing, even if just weekly.

DITHERED DEER:

Yet another few deer images I ran through my dithering process. Perhaps I should write my own black and white dithering program; I wonder if that would be too difficult?

LIST OF STUFF:

2025 has been quite the year for me, and so nearing the end of it (about a month ago) I wrote a big list of stuff I wanted to try to get done: really end this year off with a bang. The list is nowhere near filled out at this point, nor do I think I will completely live up to my initial ambitions, but a good chunk of it has been completed, and I've also accomplished some things not initially on this list. It's been a journey, this past year, and so long as I exit the year a better person I think I can be satisfied. I think, quite ironically, that one of my recent lessons is that not everything has to be a to-do list. I've been wondering if it's much healthier to have a "done" list -- listing accomplishments rather than listing goals in the vain attempt of harnessing the joy of actually completing them -- all from the comfort of your own mind, not a single lifted finger. Ahem. Where was I?

POEM: Evening's Remorse

When the sun sets
and the lights dim
will you see a reflection in the darkness,
or will you stare blankly
into nothing?

Cool Stuff:

Onto the cool stuff for the week!

Dithering Site: This is the site I use for my deer images. Not sure how general of a usage this program has, but it's a cool filter nonetheless.

O My Heart: A music rec! Mother Mother is a great band (first concert I've been to!) and this is my favourite album of theirs. Listen to the hits, at the least.

soggy.cat: soggy.cat

Thank you for making it to the end, dear reader.

Next time around?
